My thoughts

My experiences in reading is ok it not to hard and it’s not to easy to read books for me. Some of my preferences might be betrayal,action,adventure,and something that keeps me interested or I don’t know I really don’t read books that much.

Analysis—I feel that the author was talking to teens and adult and how we teens were being treated by the adults. Then when you keep on reading you could see how he would use his flow of word to keep the reader interested by saying how some one would be left out or how some teachers would be thinking or saying about there students. His tone toward this article was that he felt annoyed at the adult for not treating teens as equals. All in all I feel the author felt annoyed and just wanted to be different from everybody else.

Some memorization strategies I used to memorize Richard Cory were write it down, record/listen, and last would be mirroring. One way that writings the poem helped me was that I saw the words and so it helped me learn it a little more quicker. Recording and listening to the poem was actually less affective for me because I’m more used to seeing and not listening. Last for how mirroring helped me was that it gave me a little bit more of courage to record myself and ready to present the video in the blog.

What I understand  from today’s lesson is that we have some rights but at the same time we also don’t have rights. One thing I wrote down when I was taking notes was that one other right is another ones obligation. Then for argument I wrote down was that a argument is a way of searching for the truth. The last thing i wrote down was that if you want to present a argument you will need examples and evidence to help support your claim.
